At first glance, you would swear that the orangery had been a permanent fixture since the house was originally constructed and that be credited to the colour and brickwork selected. The Golden Oak finish is an exact replica of the colour applied to the existing windows. It may look snug, but inside it’s surprisingly spacious.
The garden gets used more regularly now as the orangery contains a set of French doors that open with effortless grace. Side panels accompany the French doors so the interior can be fully enriched with light. A further pair of French doors sit opposite the front face of the orangery, meaning the occupants can make an equally stylish exit back into the conventional part of the house. Incorporating spotlights into the internal pelmet was a clever piece of decision-making as the light provided by them illuminates the space at night and draws focus to the various ornaments set-up on the window ledges. Golden Oak has also been applied to the piping and concealed guttering to marry together the whole design.
